108 JOYS and Friendships series explores those experiences that simply bring wind to my sails to put a smile on my face. The completed series of "108 sails" was slated for an autobiographical installation before the designated gallery closed their doors. Throughout the beginning of this project, twin art pieces were repeated at the same time; one staying with me and the other going to a specific friend which shares this same joy.

Each fused glass piece captures the essence of these specific activities that we have in common as both iridized and Dichroic glass are incorporated into the final installation design.
